Watlow manufactures Screw Plug Immersion, Flanged Immersion, Over-The-Side Immersion and Cartridge “FireRod” Immersion heaters.

Watlow’s Screw Plug Immersion heaters are made from Watlow’s Watrod and Firebar elements. The Watrod is a tubular element and can be made in 316 Stainless Steel and the nickel alloy 800. The Firebar element is a single element with three conductors (3 phase) and is made of nickel alloy 800. Heaters can be custom made with custom watt densities, lengths and wattages and with general purpose, moisture resistant and explosion resistant terminal enclosures.

Watt Densities below are about 60 watts/sq. inch for clean water, 48 w/sq. inch for Process water and 45 w/sq. inch for DI/Demineralized Water.
